alright, a brief word on the fragments: here you'll find a collection of texts i’ve encountered over the years. offline and online. i didn't know where to put them all. i wanted to share them. they live here now. nice house. partly inspired by twitter bots, commonplace notebooks, my own obsessions over lyrics and sentences and things people have said. most of them are presented here without context: ie: no citation, because, 1. i don’t know where the fragment is from, i either forgot (such is the nature of these things), or i found it contextless, so i cannot give context. or 2. it is a short fragment; a lyric from a song, a line from a poem, a sentence from a novel, something that someone said once—and i don't want to be too meticulous about citing who said what for every single one of these fragments. i also think it looks better when i just let a beautiful sentence exist on its own. the words are more than enough. that’s why you’re here. they are presented randomly and out of order. to read a new fragment press the button again. ok, it's your turn now. the door is right there. all you have to do is click.
